Plaha in sramežljiva najstnica Charlotte je spretna sabljačica, ki se s pomočjo štipendije vpiše na univerzo. Svoji sostanovalki Nicole zaupa, da ji je pred kratkim umrla mama in od takrat je sama. Charlotte si najde službo kot natakarica v kavarni in se kmalu zbliža s trenerjem sabljanja Colom. Toda dekle kmalu odkrije, da ji sledijo starodavne zle sile, zaradi katerih jo začnejo mučiti nočne more in želja po krvi. Se bo uspela upreti prepovedani skušnjavi?
